One of the most affordable and simplest ways to make coffee at home is utilising a stovetop espresso maker. It is a stainless steel pot that comes in a number of sections and may be used on your stove whether it is a gas, electric or element stove.

Here is how you would use your stovetop espresso machine.

Kick off with finely ground beans using a great grinding machine. Do not use ready-ground beans as these will not be as fresh as when you grind your beans yourself.

Load your espresso maker with water to just beneath the valve. The water enters the main section of the maker at the bottom.

Next, put your ground coffee into the basket on the top of the water loaded section. Use 2 tablespoons per cup of coffee then tamper your coffee in the basket to squash it flat.

Set the top section of the espresso machine in place then place the whole device on the stove to begin warming it. You ought to use a very low heat and then wait for 5 minutes until the water pressure builds up under the heat energy.

When this happens, the water will shoot up through the middle section of your stovetop espresso machine, through the coffee grinds and into the top section where your finished drink will lodge. Wait until all of the h2o has passed through the coffee and then remove from the heat.

Once the top chamber is full of delicious espresso coffee (which will be about 60 seconds from when it first began to come up through the spout), remove the pot from the stove and set aside for thirty seconds or so.

Next, simply pour your freshly brewed coffee, kick back and enjoy!

If you discover that your water is passing through the coffee grind too slowly then you have most likely ground it too finely. Try again having adjusted your grinder to a configuration which will grind your coffee beans more coarsely. If your water passes through to quickly however, the problem is vice versa and you will have to make your grind finer.
